Out for my usual walk in the hood with my dog butter and here comes Ozzie following his dad on the scooter. Upon closer look, the Camo jacket and Simpson’s warm-up pants gave

a new meaning to mixing patterned prints. Not to mention the fab headband for a little americana. When Ozzie gets tired of following, his dad just puts him in his crate strapped to the back of the scooter and happily they go. Keep your eyes out for Ozzie Seattle!

Sometimes when I’m driving on a roadtrip, I pull over and shoot out the window real fast to see if I even want to get out and take my time to photograph. While doing that , I noticed that the car window framing looked really cool with the iphone4 camera. The super dark contrast of new lines with the old simple architechture of the barn. As an assistant said in Argentina once, ‘take a chance, shoot it , it may be a great shot’.

Shoot of a shoot

Effortless Hair Extensions from Chicago came to Sugar Photo Studios to produce catalog shots of their new product for their website and marketing launch along with 10 videos. A “shoot of a shoot ” concept was hatched between Jules and long time client Pam Hoelzle for the videos and styled shots. In two days, we shot product shots and video simultaneously to maximize the time we had with 6 models and the crew. Thanks to hair stylists Rob Paul and Daniel Keane  and the rest of the crew!

When shooting a recent campaign for Aspira Seattle, I knew my friend Shelley’s 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz would make the shot.  Finding the right props and locations for a shoot can add to your clients branding and image and create unique content a clients library. As I was driving up to the photo shoot in the car, a street guy said, “that car looks really good but it looks really good with you in it!”  Thanks!
